นางสาวกันติชา สีจันทร์ นักศึกษาจากภาควิชาสังคมวิทยาและมานุษยวิทยา คณะสังคมศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ เข้าร่วมการแข่งขันกีฬาเพาะกายและฟิตเนสชิงแชมป์เอเชีย ครั้งที่ 56 ณ เกาะบาตัม ประเทศอินโดนีเซีย ระหว่างวันที่ 6 - 12 สิงหาคม 2567 โดยสามารถคว้าเหรียญทองและเหรียญทองแดงได้อย่างภาคภูมิใจ เธอแสดงศักยภาพและความพร้อมในการแข่งขันในวงการกีฬาระดับนานาชาติ แม้จะต้องแข่งขันกับนักกีฬาจาก 23 ประเทศทั่วเอเชีย แต่เธอก็สามารถรักษาตำแหน่งแชมป์ประเภทฟิตเนสเยาวชนหญิงอายุไม่เกิน 21 ปีได้เป็นสมัยที่ 2 พร้อมทั้งคว้าเหรียญทองแดงในรายการโมเดลฟิกสิคเยาวชนหญิงอายุไม่เกิน 21 ปี และรายการฟิตเนสหญิงรุ่นประชาชนความสูงไม่เกิน 165 ซม. และโมเดลฟิกสิคหญิงรุ่นประชาชนความสูงไม่เกิน 165 ซม. ได้อีก 2 รายม.เชียงใหม่ ต้นกำเนิดนักกีฬาเพาะกายแถวหน้าของไทย
